Do you feel called to do more for those around you? We offer a variety of mission opportunities for you to participate in! Here are just a few:
Days for Girls: The DfG team hold workshops on designated Thursdays. Questions? Contact Julie Fisher at 641-521-2013 or Marilyn McCallister at 641-521-1485. Everyone is welcome. DfG works to eliminate the stigma associated with menstruation by providing kits comprised of fabric shields, flannel liners, drawstring bags, waterproof pouches, washcloths and underwear. The kits are distributed by various organizations working in Third World countries.
Looms of Love Sleeping Mats: We are continuing to weave sleeping mats for the homeless from recycled plastic grocery bags. There will be someone available after church on most Sundays to provide assistance.
Cooking Meals: Our heartfelt condolences go out to Sandy Simbro following the passing of her husband Kris. Anyone wanting to help provide a meal for Sandy, you may contact her at 641-521-1043 to arrange a delivery time.

Evening bible study is held on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm. We are discussing bible passages that you might find to be “ [ ... ]

Evening bible study is held on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm. We are discussing bible passages that you might find to be “difficult teachings". As a new passage is discussed each week, those attending are encouraged to contact Pastor Paul with those passages that perplex them so that he can include them in future study.
You are invited to bring a sandwich, or whatever you would like, and we can break bread together as we learn. If you have young children, there is a volunteer who will provide care and some children's programming while you are at bible study. Feel free to contact the office with questions.
